My name is Simon Jones.

I was born on November 8th 1981 and am currently living in Stockport, England.

I am now twenty six years old.

I spent my life wanting to be a teacher. My tremendous Primary School, Barrack Hill in Stockport (now demolished!), and the superb staff made me want to teach and develop the same confidence and happiness in the next generation as they did to me.

I completed my Batchelor of Education (with honours) in June 2004 and immediately secured a full time teaching job.

I had two and a bit very happy years in the Primary setting until I fell ill with depression in October 2006 and subsequently ended my full time teaching career.

All of my priorities changed from this point. I still wanted to remain in the teaching profession but not on a full time basis. My aim was to assist individuals in reaching their own potential, so began the Clearervisions journey.

Through my own illness, I obtained my own counselling therapy and automatically decided to begin my training as a counsellor. I am now part way through the relevant courses.

My other goal was not to leave teaching. I teach in many local schools on a supply basis, however my main service is provided here through Clearervisions. I love working one to one with individuals, both children and adults, to fill their gaps in achieving academic success. I get a buzz from watching them reach their own goals and currently tutor people from various areas of Greater Manchester.
